4 Day, 3 Night Khwai Camping Safari

This immersive safari package provides the perfect opportunity to experience the wild beauty of Botswana’s Khwai and Moremi regions. Enjoy exciting mokoro rides, game drives, and nature walks, all while staying in a fully equipped campsite. Your meals will be served at the campsite’s restaurant, and the camp team will handle all setup and packing for you.

• Day 1:

   

  ARRIVAL

  Arrive at the campsite in the afternoon. Your guide and camp staff will greet you and provide an introduction to the camp and surrounding area. Your pre-arranged campsite will be fully set up
  with a comfortable dome tent, mattress, and bedding, so you can simply relax and enjoy the experience.

  

  FULL CAMPSITE SETUP

  Your camp assistant will take care of the setup, which includes:

  • Dome tent
  • Mattress
  • Bedding (pillows, blankets, and sheets)

   

  AFTERNOON ACTIVITY: CHOOSE ONE

  • Mokoro Ride (2-3 hours): Explore the tranquil channels of the Khwai River Delta in a mokoro, taking in the serene beauty and spotting wildlife.
  • Nature Walk (2-3 hours): A guided walk through the bush to discover the flora, fauna, and wildlife tracks of the region.
  • Game Drive in Khwai or Moremi (2-3 hours): Experience a thrilling game drive through the Khwai Concession or Moremi Game Reserve, where you’ll encounter a wide variety of animals and birds.

  

  DINNER AND OVERNIGHT

  Enjoy a delicious dinner served at the campsite’s restaurant, with a selection of grilled meats, vegetables, salads, and a tasty dessert. After dinner, relax under the stars, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the bush. Rest for the night in your fully set-up campsite.

  BREAKFAST

  After your morning activity, enjoy a hearty breakfast featuring:

  • Freshly brewed coffee or tea
  • Juices
  • Pastries, fruits, eggs, cereals, and toast with spreads

   

  CHOOSE TWO SAFARI ACTIVITIES OR A FULL DAY MOREMI GAME DRIVE

  Option 1: Safari Activities (Choose Two – morning and afternoon)

  • Mokoro Ride (2-3 hours): Explore the waterways in the traditional mokoro.
  • Nature Walk (2-3 hours): A guided walk focusing on the local wildlife.
  • Game Drive in Khwai or Moremi (2-3 hours): Experience another exciting game drive.

  

  Option 2: Full Day Moremi Game Drive (6-7 hours):

  For those who want a more extensive safari experience, you’ll embark on a full day game drive through Moremi Game Reserve, where you can spot a wide array of wildlife in this stunning wilderness area.

  LUNCH AT THE RESTAURANT

  Enjoy a delicious lunch at the campsite’s restaurant in between your activities. (Note that if you chose a Moremi full day game drive, you will be served a packed lunch during the day.

   

  DINNER AND OVERNIGHT

  Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the campsite’s restaurant. Relax under the African sky and rest for another peaceful night at your campsite.
