  Day 1:

  Your dedicated guide will meet and welcome you at Maun Airport or surrounding areas.  Your guide will brief you on the itinerary and exciting program ahead.

  With an early departure, we will make our way to Central Kalahari Game Reserve, one of the most remote places in Botswana and very rich in wildlife.

  Camp will be setup and we will enjoy a dinner prepared on the open fire while listening to the sounds of the bush.

• Day 2 & Day 3:

  After a delicious breakfast, we have a full day of safari activities in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.

• Day 4:

  Today will be an early start as we break up camp and make our way back to civilization. You will receive a packed breakfast to enjoy enroute to Boteti Tented Safari Lodge.

  Back at the lodge, you will have some time to freshen up before leaving on an optional 2-hour sunset mokoro safari on the Boteti River (provided there is enough time). Afterwards, you will enjoy a delicious and freshly prepared dinner.

• Day 5:

  You will enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading to the boat station where you will depart on a full day mokoro safari.

  Your Mokoro safari will begin as you head out into the many reed channels of the Okavango Delta. Your guide will already have an update of any exciting or special sightings in the area. Most guides are from the Bayei tribe who many believe to be the first inhabitants of the Okavango Delta, “people of the Delta” so to speak. You will learn about all aspects of this magical inland oasis from the tiniest of creatures, beautiful reed frogs and big 5 mammal species along the water edge. Your guide will also interpret nature in a unique manner and show you traditional and medicinal uses of wild plants in the Delta.

  A stop will be made on one of the many islands to enjoy your packed lunch before heading on a nature walk discovering more of this abundant ecosystem. After some relaxing time, you will continue your adventure exploring more of these unlimited channels and choosing to stop at any other islands as you may please. Returning at 16:00pm.

  When returning to lodge, you will have some time to freshen up while a delicious dinner is being prepared for you.

• Day 6:

  The sounds of the bush and the chirping of the birds will wake you up on your last day. A delicious breakfast will be served where after we sadly must leave.

  You will be dropped off in Maun.

  Meals: Breakfast
