Moremi is the home to nearly 500 species of bird (from water birds to forest dwellers), and a vast array of other species of wildlife, including buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyaena, jackal, impala, and red lechwe and African wild dog.

Experience this in an open game vehicle specially converted, allowing one to absorb and an all-sensory experience when up and close to wildlife. Your experienced game ranger will teach you about all aspects of nature and interpret wildlife behaviour in a unique way. He will also receive updates from other rangers in the area determining animal movements.

  • You will be picked up at any Lodge or resort in the Maun area during early parts of the morning and return late in the afternoon. (06:00 am to 16:00pm. Return time could be delayed depending on the roads, time of year and sightings).

     

    Please note that Moremi is situated 2 – 3 hours away from the lodge (duration of the drive will depend on the current road conditions).

     

    Tea/coffee and rusks served shortly after entering the reserve and the first part of the morning drive.

    A packed lunch will be served in style by your guide at one of the beautiful rest camps along the way.

  • Drop off will be late afternoon in Maun.
